Coding isn't just for "coders"
Imagine if people didn't learn to read and write because they didn't seem themselves as "authors". Just cause you don't see yourself as an engineer doesn't mean you shouldn't learn to code.
Code is here to stay. Every influential invention to come will be built with some amount of code. Coding is going to be taught in school to the same degree that reading and writing is. That being said, it's not too late for you to learn it.

"Either you're telling a computer what to do or a computer is telling you what to do—and you don't want to be on the wrong side of that transaction."
-Naval
